Sea Dogg Buoyant Swim Collar
Posted on 30. Jul, 2007 by Keri in Dog Collars & Leads, Dog Health
We used to live in a house that had a pool. When we first got Bliss, we put her in the pool to teach her how to get out if she ever fell in. We did this with our previous dog, as did my mom with our family dogs. It never occurred to me that Bliss wouldn’t be able to swim. I think the amount of fluff on her butt soaked up water like a sponge, and down she went, panicking all the way.
We never left her alone in the backyard after that.
Enter the Sea Dogg buoyant water collar! It fits around your dog’s neck, helps keep dogs afloat and doesn’t restrict motion. I’m not sure if Bliss’ refined fashion sense would allow her to wear it, but by gosh, It would have given me some peace of mind.

Please can you help me, I am trying to source
a sea dog collar for my old lab.
Summer is fast approaching and would like to purchase a sea dogg collar. I live in South Africa. I have tried the http://www.seadogg.com website to no avail.
It would be great if you could let me know who else stocks the collars.

I guess they don’t make these anymore. Could have been a cool concept!
