This might be totally off-topic, but I had to pass this along.
Rich King Casting is looking for purebred, talented pups for “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2.” They’re seeking dogs with the looks and the talent to make it in Hollywood:
“Here is your chance to show off (to the world) your best friend. The scene is the Beverly Hills dog show and your purebred could be part of the movie. No talent too big or too small!
If interested, please email your name, contact info, a video of your dog and its talent, a picture of you and your dog, breed, and any miscellaneous information to dogshowfilm@gmail.com.
Casting will start the week of September 21, 2009, so send in your submission as soon as possible.”
More information can be found on their website.
You know, Bliss is a purebred. And she’s quite charming. I’m really, really tempted… Hmm…

Well I am an actress who is 12 years old and experienced.I have a full grown pure-breed chihuahua and she is well trained and has a unique fur color. It is like a tanish, goldish fur color. She is quite the cutey and her name is ”Twinky” (like the pastry).I would love for me and my dog to be in the new movie. So please contact me if you are still casting.I have been in a few professional auditions for plays.actual school plays, commercials, short films and have been a extra a few times.I am looking for a big time movie and since I enjoyed the first ”Beverly Hills Chihuahua” movie I would love to be in the sequel to it since I think it will be even better than the first.

Lexie-lu is trained to Sit, stay, lay, say her prayers, crawl on her belly, sit up Pretty, fetch, Walk like a lady on her two back feet, Speak, dance and twirl, shake, and take a bow.
My baby is 5 years old responsive, loves to dress up and I think you would enjoy working with her!
I don’t see where I can attach photos, but feel free to take a peek at her MySpace page ( Lexie-lu) or contact me for more information.
Thank you,
Gail Hansen and Lexie-lu
PS Designer Linda Higgins, designed a Pink silk dress that has been sent into Disney for the movie. We feel very honored to tell you this dress was named the Lexie-lu when added to her collection! We would be ever so happy if you choose this dress for Chloe!

Both my young daughters absolutely LOVED the first Beverly Hills Chihuahua Movie, and decided they wanted chihuahuas like Chloe, ROFL, I reminded them we had perfectly good shelties at home
Maybe I should start advertising my chihuahua art prints more aggressively again…You have to admit Chloe is pretty cute.

I saw the first one and it was great! I have a purebred papillon named Trixie. She is 1 year old almost 2 years. I would really be excited if she could be in this upcoming movie! COuld a Papillon be entered?

I’m wondering, are they paying the dog owners for being in the show? I have a beautiful JRT that would be an absolute riot in the show. He has such a personality and is so funny, they wouldn’t even have to train him.

I agree with a lot of people out there, why only Chihuahuas? Large dogs and medium dogs are great actors too. Gotta love all the dog apparel on these pups.

What i don’t realize is actually how you’re not really much more well-liked than you may be right now. You are so intelligent. You realize therefore considerably relating to this subject, made me personally consider it from a lot of varied angles. Its like women and men aren’t fascinated unless it is one thing to do with Lady gaga! Your own stuffs excellent. Always maintain it up!

I’m an owner of a German Sheppard and Grey Hound mix so I kind of understand where people are coming from in regards to not racism but dogism. The name of the movie is “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2″ meaning that most of the dogs will have to be Chihuahua! Certain roles need certain actors you just need to spend your time looking for them!
