We lost Bliss to cancer on January 18, 2010. We very much appreciate all of your kinds words, prayers, and condolences. It means a lot to us. Although we may continue this blog at some point, we’re taking a break to honor Bliss and won’t be taking any product suggestions for a while. Thanks so much for reading.
The authors
Dog Bliss is curated and written by me, Keri Maijala, and my 9-year-old Keeshond, Bliss. We love clever, innovative items and well-designed takes on traditional dog products. Bliss is especially fond of cookies and stuffed toys, and I like ice cream and Disneyana (which may or may not have anything to do with dogs).
The blog
Dog Bliss is a collection of dog items I came across when searching for just the perfect things for Bliss. Instead of keeping them in a collection of bookmarks, I decided to share them in a blog format. The blog is updated regularly (you’re welcome to define “regularly”), and yes, it skews towards Keeshonds. We think it’s only fair.
The products
The products are chosen at my (and Bliss’) discretion. Sponsored items are marked as such. If you’d like to send us samples of your products, Bliss would be more than happy to test them (especially if your product is cookies). If we like it, it goes in! Furthermore, any item that Bliss personally tests and deems worthy is branded with the coveted “Bliss Approved” badge. Please note that we cannot return items and there is no implied guarantee a submitted product will be featured on Dog Bliss.
