Fairy Tail Dust Body Bling for Dogs

Dogbodyglitter Remember in the '80s and it was prom night so you put a lot of that body glitter on? And then you danced with your date and it got all over his tux? And it got all over everything you ever owned and in every nook and cranny of your body?

Well, now your dog can enjoy the same experience. That's right - it's body bling for your dog. In eight different colors to coordinate with... well, whatever your dog wants to coordinate with. It indicates it's non-toxic which is great, because when your dog licks herself it would be good if this stuff didn't make her sick. And it will make her tongue very sparkly, very shiny.

Cashmere Dog Legwarmers

Doglegwarmers She's a maniac, maaaaaaaaniac on the floor! Yes, these are legwarmers for your dog. Superfluous? No way. Not when your dog can look as 80s-licious as this. Even better, these are cashmere legwarmers. Because nothing feels as good on... um... other fur... than cashmere. They have velcro tabs and ribbon to help for that perfect fit. These are exclusive to Rex in the City.

Now, I just need that LaToya braided headband, and Bliss will be all set.

Christmas Tree Dog Charm

Christmastreedogcharm Jingle-lingle-lingle-ling! What's that? Is that Santa and his reindeer? No, it's your dog, wearing all the cute little tags that are out there. This is a little Christmas tree, all decorated up for the holidays with silver plating and red and green rhinestones.

Um, I'm out. Jingle-lingle-ling.

Cupcake LilyCharm Dog Charm

Cupcakedogcharm I know, I know. Another cupcake item. But I just can't help it. Cupcakes are too cute. Maybe I'll just make a whole category for cupcake-themed dog products. Or a whole website! Yeah! Hmmm...

Here's a cupcake dog charm. It's a charm for dogs... in the shape of a cupcake. That's what makes it cute, and that's what makes you want to buy it.

Woof Dog Sachet

Woof_sachet This cute and craftsy dog sachet is handmade from felt (?) and filled with lavender to repel fleas and freshen up the funk. It has velcro flaps to slip onto your dog's collar, so your dog can walk around proudly with a defunkifier around his neck. It comes in a clear box for gift-giving, and $1 from each purchase is donated to the Petaluma Animal shelter. And that's a good thing.

Minnie and Mickey Dog Hairpins

D_8454 Do you have ANY idea how lucky Bliss is she doesn't have long, silky fur that would allow me to adorn her with hairpins? Because if she did, do you know exactly how often she would be without hairpins? NONE often. That's how often.

I may have to try to get these to stay on her fuzzy little head, because LOOK. They're little Mickey and Minnie hairpins! See, it's a Disney accessory for MY DOG'S HEAD. I think I'm going to collapse from the possible juxtaposition of Mickey and Minnie and MY DOG'S HEAD.

These attach with little metal clips. You have to choose - Mickey or Minnie. Or you could buy one set of each, and then you could simultaneously represent the male Disney mouse and female Disney mouse ON YOUR DOG'S HEAD.

"She's So Fake" Faux Diamond Earrings

Highmain_pnkearing Are you ready for this? These are faux diamond earrings for your dog. No piercing required; they attach using magnets. I can't attest to how well they'd stay on, and I'm thinking they'd look better on dogs with the standy-uppy kind of ears rather than the foldy-over kind, but I guess you could try.

Bliss is waiting for the nose ring.

Happy Pirate Skull Dog Carrier

Petflyskullcarrierbig Day 2 of Pirate Days at Dog Bliss. Here is what I'm sure the Dread Pirate Roberts would carry his dog in - the Happy Pirate Skull Dog Carrier. The skull even glows in the dark for a little pirate night-light in case the pirate gets a-scared of the dark.

It's made of pleather and has a peek-a-boo flap so your little stowaway can see what all the noise on the poop deck is all about (your dog giggles at "poop deck"). It has a fur-lined bottom (just like your dog), a side pocket for treats, two interchangeable handles, and little blankie for extra-pirate-dog-comfort. It comes in three sizes for dogs up to 16 lbs., buckles into your car for safety, and is approved by most major airlines for cabin travel.

Whether or not the Black Pearl approves of it, I couldn't say.

Han-nari Apple Beret

94369641 When I was in Japan, I found a shop with amazing dog clothes and accessories. Later, when I tried to track them down online, I couldn't find them. Although I had taken pictures of the clothes in the store, none of my pictures showed the store name. Just this second, while looking for something else, I finally found them, and they have an online store based out of New York!

"Han-nari" is a word from ancient Kyoto meaning "sophistication, vibrancy, color and life." Their dog clothing and accessories are whimisical and fun, featuring bright colors and themes like fruit (they even have a Disney line, but it appears it isn't available online yet. Bummer). This apple beret is perfect for back-to-school ("apple for the teacher..." I know. A stretch). It's made from polyester with a little chin strap to keep it in place. It comes in several different sizes;  the website is set up to view products by size so you'll need to find your size first, then browse the products.

Insert "apple of my eye" joke here.
