Fairy Tail Dust Body Bling for Dogs

Dogbodyglitter Remember in the '80s and it was prom night so you put a lot of that body glitter on? And then you danced with your date and it got all over his tux? And it got all over everything you ever owned and in every nook and cranny of your body?

Well, now your dog can enjoy the same experience. That's right - it's body bling for your dog. In eight different colors to coordinate with... well, whatever your dog wants to coordinate with. It indicates it's non-toxic which is great, because when your dog licks herself it would be good if this stuff didn't make her sick. And it will make her tongue very sparkly, very shiny.

Lulo Luscious Lemon Spritzer Cleanser

Lulodoglusciouslemon The very nice people at Lulo sent us this marvelous cleansing spritzer to try out. Bliss, being a Keeshond, doesn't require much bathing; just a regular brushing will do nicely.

I've used powder shampoo in the past to help clean her fur between bathings as I was afraid spray cleansers might mat her fur. I was pleasantly surprised when the Lulo product went on very lightly, and it smelled lovely - not overly perfumey at all.

I gave her another spritzing halfway through (double-coated breed and all), and her coat is nice and soft. The spray also helped control static, which is a problem when brushing double-coated breeds.

It's several hours later, and I can still smell the spritzer if I put my face right in her fur, but otherwise I can't smell it. I think a light perfume in this scent would be welcomed; I really like the fragrance and would like it to last longer.

Lulo is based out of New York, and pride themselves on using the highest-quality ingredients that are, of course, dog-friendly. Thanks, Lulo!

QuickPost™ : Domaine du Chien Dog Shampoo

442_large Because I just realized this second I had no posts today (it's been a crazy day), I have just come up with my patented (well, pending) QuickPost™. This means I can put a post up and say very little, just that it's a cool thing. Take a look. This is dog shampoo in the shape of a wine bottle. It smells like peppermint and has beneficial oils to condition the skin.

KissAble Dog Toothbrush and Toothpaste

1040 Bliss' breath is a little stinky. And it's all my fault. It's because I don't brush her teeth; when she was a pup, I tried and she resisted heroically, but in a sweet way. It was like she was saying, "No thanks, I'd prefer not to." I had a little Bartleby the Scrivener on my hands. In any case, I pick my battles, and I had already chosen fur brushing over teeth brushing. Thus, her teeth are neglected.

Maybe I would had been a little more demanding had I these tools: the KissAble dog toothbrush and toothpaste. The design of the toothbrush allows you to clean all three sides of the teeth in one stroke, and the toothpaste is yummy, yummy vanilla-flavored. Shoot, I want some of that.

Creamsicle Dog Shampoo

935defaultl I know this might be more of a summer thing than a fall thing, but it sounded so yummy-smelling I couldn't not feature it. This is a dog shampoo that combines yummy vanilla and yummy orange to create a yummy 50/50 Bar-smelling shampoo. And who wants a dog that smells like a 50/50 Bar? I DO! I DO! Made with aloe and jojoba for skin-conditioning goodness.

Fruits & Passion HOTdog Gift Set

Product_33_large I'm a sucker for marketing and presentation. You could wrap a dirty sock in the right packaging and I'd buy it. I'm not saying Fruits & Passion's HOTdog collection is akin to a dirty sock (although a dirty sock is an acceptable toy to many a canine), but I am saying that the great-looking packaging of this product is what caught my eye first.

This is a "discovery kit" of several HOTdog items, all cleverly contained in an attractive gift box. You get sample-sized shampoo, "fresh and lustrous" spray, eau de toilette (specially formulated for your dog's keen sense of smell, and scented of fruit, fig leaves and cedar), and a ball. You know. To play with.
